Story Synopsis

This issue is all about Noriko, the Blood Princess and her efforts to survive what had been her march toward death. The woman suffers and suffers and suffers some more all in the hopes of evading her well-deserved place in Enma’s Hell. And for a brief moment the reader actually feels some small measure of pity for her. But it is brief indeed.

There is a short epilogue in which more emotional intrigue is passed between our favorite Rabbit Ronin and the fair Tomoe, as well as a well-deserved promotion for a young man who was instrumental in ensuring that pair’s escape from the clutches of the Blood Princess.
