Those are really cool videos. They really make me wish I could direct movies (Mine would probably be much more Ed Wood than Kurosawa though :p). I was going to post the Kurosawa one here but you beat me to it.

This is VERY great. Really amazing. I have always loved Kurosawa ever since I first saw Seven Samurai back in high school but this really breaks it down and shows me why! I also LOVED the comparison with the Avengers movie. My kids have all seen many Kurosawa movies but they also like some more modern movies that I just cannot get behind. I will show them this video as it explains to me what I cannot explain to my kids whey I cannot tolerate watching a lot of modern movies--at least mainstream ones.

I wish it had my favorite scene in the clip, though. The one where Kanbe' kills the kidnapper that is hiding and the kidnapper comes running out of the shed and the scene goes to slow motion as he falls over and dies in the dirt. Just fantastic and perfect in every way.
