Very nice Mayhem :)
Your collection is getting bigger and bigger.
You should consider to open an Usagi exhibition in London :D

Yeah, as I noted in the other thread, it had a reasonable proxy bid going into the actual live auction, but I was the only person to put a bid in there (and a cut bid at that), so I won it heh.

Noticed that it's quite similar to a later print: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1991-art-prin ... SwIdpZwFrd

Also, only just noticed that Usagi is minus his trademark scar, so this must be "set" before Lord Mifune's death.

I've just realized that your latest aquisition actually a published piece, congrats! It is the tip in plate art of Usagi Book #1 (s/n ltd. edition).
(Probably more pieces from HA were published somewhere in the late '80s/early '90s (as a back cover, illustration, etc.), if somebody finds something, then please post about it :) )

Two acquisitions coincide... first, finally got my Usagi commission from Randy...

And second, I vaguely remember the story, but this is the first time I recall seeing original art for this Stan non-Usagi story...!
