I've had a mega update of my Flickr groups for Usagi, Mouse Guard and TMNT following SDCC this year. Lots of things bought! But here's just the original Usagi pieces...

That first Usagi piece makes me cry. That is something I would pay an arm and a leg for. I know you would not, but if you ever decided to part with it, let me know. Wow, that is seriously gorgeous.

Thank you for sharing!

PS I was there when Stan made you stand up! :D

I had to steal that image from your flicker and make it my desktop. Such wonderful coloring and charismatic composition. Words do not do the piece justice. I guess you could say I am jealous.

I hope you took the full size image that's available from the Flickr page ;)

(although if you like it that much, I could always properly scan it for you...?)

The first piece is based upon the tip-in plate for the h/c Bridge of Tears, and was a watercolour effort auctioned off in aid of the Cartoon Art Museum, where Stan had a recent exhibition of work. I threw in a random proxy bid and won! However the piece was sent to Kris for security, cost and no Customs interference, so I didn't get to have it in my hands until two weeks ago.

Ah, the Cartoon Art Museum auction : the only auction i could have won with you in competition, since i knew your offer, but Morgane didn't want it, she did right, instead i hope one of those days i 'll get a special comission piece ^_^

We may use that "Usagi Sunset with falling leaves" color piece for a T-shirt. I've been asked to do a couple of shirt designs for a signing I will be doing in November.

Actually, Stan's post has reminded me of something... someone's got a PM.

I cannot express to everyone how envious I am of this piece. Thank you so much for the message Mayhem. Wish me luck!

And, that is a shirt I will have to track down!

Stan, where will the signing be located? :?:
