Have you thought about shoving the images up to CAF?

I dropped by this thread to admire your Senso page again and had forgotten about the 20th anniversary SDCC one you have as well. Those are both fantastic pages!

Thanks Kyle! The 20th is up on the wall that leads our family room. So I see almost every day. I like to stop and admire it. I am always grateful I was able to see Stan after SDCC at the Monterey Park Gift Expo (or something like that) and he still had it on hand. He had a bunch of covers too but I could only afford to get one piece of art. I went back and forth on what I should get and I finally asked my dad what he thought. He said the 20th because it was more like a comic book (with panels). I am grateful to my dad because I have never regretted that choice. And I think of my dad when I look at this piece too.

I haven't been able to get the Senso page framed yet. This page means a lot of me because of Stan saved it and gave it to me after I donated most of my Usagi collectables to Sharon's CAPS auctions. It replaces a beautiful original water color painting that went for $1,500 in the eBay auction (http://www.ebay.com/itm/STAN-SAKAI-AUCTION-Original-STAN-SAKAI-Art-USAGI-Watercolor-BEAUTIFUL-/141281721029?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&nma=true&si=Hqbf7zWOGZ1fgOfmY66SBmEn3i8%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc). I was proud of be able to be able to contribute to Sharon's care and the Sakai family. So this Senso piece brings up a lot of memories every time I take it out to look at it. Hopefully I get it framed so I can enjoy it even more. :)

Peace, maka

Two great pieces of art and two amazing stories to go along with them. That was incredibly generous of you to donate to the CAPS auctions. Thanks for taking the time to share the stories behind these.
