Usagi Yojimbo Action Figure

The Usagi Yojimbo Platinum Edition: Unfortunately the Usagi action figure line has been officially discontinued. This means there will be no further action figures from Antarctic Press Toys or Dark Horse (not even one of Tomoe!).

"As far as I know, Antarctic has gotten out of the action figure business. The entire "small-run" action figure market has pretty much died out with oversaturation especially with the "good-girl" -type figures. Darkhorse has also pulled out of that market after only releasing a few figures. I haven't been approached by any other company interested in an Usagi figure."

Usagi Yojimbo Wristwatch

Stan Sakai's samurai character Usagi Yojimbo is now presented by Dark Horse in this fine, functional, wearable form. A very limited edition of 1,000 Usagi Yojimbo watches is being produced.

Each watch is packaged in a sturdy, hand-made, collectible wooden box with the Usagi logo on the cover, and a full-color image of Usagi on the inside of the lid, reproduced from a painting by artist Stan Sakai.

The watch itself features Usagi in silver etching against a black watch face background. The watch face is circled by embossed silver numbers and an etched metal panel with the Usagi Yojimbo logo. The strap is black leather. A numbered certificate of authenticity is included.

This is an original Cel or Celluloid (a transparent sheet on which objects are drawn or painted for traditional, hand-drawn animation.) This cel features Usagi Yojimbo.

Here's the first color UY Silk Screen print, sold in October 1988. It originally sold for $25.00 and was signed and numbered to a limited edition of 200 copies.

And here's the second UY SS print, created in February 1992. It originally sold for $60.00 and was also signed and numbered.

The following two prints were done in 1988-1989. One features the first page from "A Quiet Meal", while the other is the cover from UY Vol. 1 #13. These were limited to 150 each. Stan also hand-colored an even more limited edition version of these prints. Those were limited to 50 copies. Both prints are ~11"x16". They were selling for $10 and the colored ones were $25.
