lol...yeah surprisingly this Pink's isn't that bad! Normally I'd expect the 'mall version' of an iconic eatery to be terrible...but not so with this one.

I think all things considered it would HAVE to be considered the best. There are plenty of other great Samurai films...but Seven Samurai has so many perfect scenes and has inspired so many films in the genre it deserves the title. It's the most well balanced of any of the Samurai films I've seen... ...

Yeah...Ran is pretty dark. I didn't mean the tone so much as the plot. You could certainly adapt a lot of it without venturing into really dark territory. Though you are probably right on both counts - I think Usagi's time period would be a bit late to have those size battles....though I would LOVE ...

I would love to see an out and out retelling of Seven Samurai in Usagi.

Though if I had my pick I'd rather see Ran or something within that vein. We haven't really seen anything in that sort of scale except for the flashbacks when Usagi was a retainer.

As a side note Kirby used boards that were twice the size of standard pages- Bryan Hitch uses them currently on FF. I saw some of them (the Hitch ones) at SDCC, I don't know how he fills them- they are just massive

That's a tough question....I voted for Noriyuki. Only because most of the people on that list suffer quite a bit. I mean who REALLY wants to wander around and constantly be attacked by Ninjas or bandits? :P It's great for dramatic purposes but it would be a tough life to be almost anyone on that lis...

Yeah that is pretty good. I think another good one is "Ibuki" by Kodo. Both songs give a perfect sense of traveling...or of a journey of some sort. Good stuff....
