On the Usagi Yojimbo character page at http://www.tvtropes.org, they list Kitsune as Chaotic Good. Myself, I'd go with Chaotic Evil for Jei, given that he kills virtually everyone he meets.

I love this list! Jei is one of my favorite characters in the whole UY saga, and I've heard that his origin story was finally done in (I think) volume 24? Aside from the books listed (3, 6, 9-12, 14, 16, 18, 20), has Jei/'Jeizuma' shown up anywhere else of late? And what's become of Inazuma and Keiko?

Something I've heard only rumors about for several years now is that there are supposed to be organizations in both Japan and America that seek out artifact-quality katanas taken as prizes of war back in WW2 and return them to the families of their original owners in Japan. I have a copy of the DVD, and while I like it -- it's good to own copies of The H-Man and Mothra -- I wish they'd done as much with them as has been done with the Tokyo Shock Toho flicks like The Mysterians or the recent Showa Godzilla film set, where they included mini-documentaries about the films...

HI all, Does anyone know of any manga or films that center on Japan's history pre-samurai and Mongol invasions and whatnot?
