I picked up the last 3 my shop had today, and if you're in the US and you need one, PM me and I'll mail you one. Obviously I'd rather give first shot to people who genuinely didn't get one rather than people getting thier 2nd or 3rd ones but I have no way to verify that other than relying on you guy...

I've managed to see not one but two previews of it and it holds up really well, I agree with Colin Solan the movie is a lot of fun and the secondary actors are brilliant (though for my money Kieran Culkin stole the show). When we left the theater and were asked for our opinions about the movie my fr...

I'm more a fan of gunfu myself but really anything produced by Tsui Hark is pretty great in my book... and of course you can't go wrong with John Woo's HK cinema (his US stuff is a bit more hit or miss) but his late 80's- early 90's stuff is fantastic. I'm almost ashamed to admit it, but I am reading (for the first time ) Robert Jordan's apparently never ending Wheel of Time series. A friend of mine who is a huge fan of the series bought me the first 10 books in paperback for Christmas. They're long but engrossing, I am about half-way through the ...

I read Shogun about once every two years, it's a great book... I never got into the rest of Clavell's stuff though I'm not sure why. Yoshikawa's stuff is incredible, Taiko is way way up on my personal list of books to read/recommend. Not quite samurai, but this past summer I read the Chinese epic &q...

Heroes isn't that bad, but after three (or four?) episodes it's really starting to reek of the unearned self-importance that only big-network TV can deliver. But I'll still watch it.

I have studied Kendo (I think the avatar gave that away) for about 5 years now and am a Shodan (lots of practice not many tournies/testing oppertunities). But Kendo is to Kenjustu what fencing is to swashbuckling, so I don't know if it counts.
