Does anyone know if there are any japanese myths about how people first learned how to use the sword?

"Journey to the west" is awesome. However, every time I find a retelling of this story on the internet, it only goes up to when Wukong becomes Xuanzang's disciple. Anyone know where I could find the rest of the story?

I don't think either of them invented the graphic novel. I think that there were manga in japan before osamu tezuka, and manga were often basically graphic novels.

Sasuke may or may not be based on Shoki the demon queller, a character who appeared a lot in old japanese paintings. Shoki was an aspiring scholar who commited suicide because he failed the imperial examinations, and in gratitude for receiving a good burial started protecting people from demons.
