Re: Tokushima's 1st snow of the season!

Kawai snowmen! I'm curious, how was the weather before it snowed? I see some flowers in one of the photos... something I wouldn't expect for this time of year, especially if you get cold winters (well, in Southern California it's normal, but I really don't know what goes on in more temperate ...

Re: Tokushima's 1st snow of the season!

I forgot I took this photo...just saw it on my phone and thought I'd drop it in here with the rest. I didn't make the snowmen, just saw them when we were driving around looking at the scenery and thought they were pretty awesome: http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh22/bwbollom/2012%20Japan/Snowmen....

Re: Tokushima's 1st snow of the season!

Wow! It sure looks cold!! I agree, those are awesome photos! I'd also like to say thanks for sharing! The snow sure seems to go well with the Japanese landscape and architecture. Simply beautiful. Thanks! Snow does truly look amazing in the Japanese surroundings! It was quite cold. I wanted to make...

Tokushima's 1st snow of the season!

We had our first snow of the season over the weekend. Having lived almost all of my life in Texas up to this point, this was a pretty big deal for me! It was by far the most snow I've ever had in a place where I lived and probably the most I've ever seen at one time. Some of my friends here said thi...

Re: Usagi Yojimbo T-shirt on TeeFury

Yeah, I kind of see it as being ok if its a one-off thing (like an original art commission) but not so much if its a mass produced item. If someone wanted to 'borrow' Usagi Yojimbo for a convention sketch it's probably not a problem (but that's definitely Stan's call, obviously not mine). If that sa...

Very cool photos! Thanks for sharing them! It looks like you're having a great time. I hope the trip is fun and you find lots of good stuff for your collection! Mos Burger is one of my favorites too! Don't blame you for going there first :)

Re: Traveling to Japan...

Have a great trip! Hopefully you'll have a ton of fun. I haven't been to either of those places personally, but everywhere I've been here in Japan so far has been great! You should be arriving at a good time too...the weather is very nice right now and the leaves are just starting to turn fall color...

Maichan: Thanks! It has been a blast so far. The views are beautiful everywhere here, but I really liked that image from my school. Glad you did too! I'm currently sitting at the same school, looking out the window at the forest covered mountains...it's lovely! I'm working in the schools here via th...

Re: UY Comics / TPBs in Japanese?

Usagi has never been translated into Japanese. Comparatively, very few Western comics have. I have never written a story about Shikoku. I recently saw a couple of documentaries about the 88 Temple pilgrimage. One was a 4-parter on Travels in Japan, and I think the other was on Begin Japanology (but...

UY Comics / TPBs in Japanese?

Hi Stan & Dojo folks! I haven't been around here much recently. For most of 2012, I've been gearing up for and then in the process of moving to Japan! I'd only been here once before, but near the beginning of the year I had an interview for and ended up getting a job teaching English here! I've ...

I found out that I won't be able to attend SDCC this year for the first time in a while. I was hoping to pick up a Sketchbook #1 there...if it's still possible to order one after the convention, I'd definitely like to be on the list!

Thanks!

Thank you for your reply! I have enjoyed Usagi so much as well as meeting you at conventions throughout the years!
