This week you all have some math homework but I promise to make it fun!
Issue #151 of Usagi Yojimbo was just released and that number is the answer to your math question.
So what I need in the form of a PM is what numbers to the clues below total 151. I'm giving you the answer, you just need to tell me how to get there!
Here are your clues for the math problem:
Number of Raptors on the published cover of 123B variant
Number of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Number of zombies on the original cover art of 119, not the published cover with the logo
Number of arrows on the SDCC print for Saga volume 1...not the published Saga vol. 1 cover
Number of shuriken(throwing stars) on the Belgium print
Number of death's head word balloons on cover 101 original artwork, not the published cover with the logo
By adding all of these answers together it will give you a total of 151 which is the current issue of Usagi Yojimbo!
So, if you can figure out some of these but not others you may still be able to come up with the correct answers by process of elimination.
Please keep in mind I have counted multiple times to ensure these answers are correct but I am still human and make mistakes. A little grace and mercy if I screw this whole thing up this week
The goal here is to have some fun on this little scavenger hunt and work out the type of math problem I wish I had been given in school as a kid

Not sure if I'll be able to participate, but this sounds like fun!

My math has been confirmed correct as I now have received TWO correct answers with all totals for each item totaling 151

One of these is tricky as something you are looking for is not as obvious as the others on the piece of art but it is there.
All answers so far on the first try had the same item missing from their count.
Keep counting!

All of the answers are available online. I don't own any of these and was still able to participate.

Three correct answers and Gaffey makes a good point, I did verify that all items on the list could be easily found on the internet so as to have more participation.
I didn't want to make it hard but also wanted people to do a little work to earn the win

Only three correct answers this week from:
Mayhem
Casey Burnes
Gaffey
I had a couple incorrect answers as well but only those three got the math problem correct.
I either made it to difficult or everybody hates math a lot more than I thought
Answers are as follows:
17 Raptors on the 123B variant cover
4 TMNTs
19 Zombies on the 119 cover art
20 arrows on the SDCC Saga cover print
10 shuriken on the Belgium print...(only one person got this correct on the first guess)
81 death's head word balloons on the 101 original cover artwork
For a grand total of 151 which is the current issue number of Usagi Yojimbo published by Dark Horse!
With only three correct answers, I have chosen Gaffey as the winner because he had the complete correct answer on his first guess
While not a requirement, I felt that was fair instead of leaving it up to a number generator.
Thanks to everybody that participated and Congrats to Gaffey!

Congratulations Gaffey! I would have liked to have participated, but I had a really busy week and never got around to doing the necessary research.
Great trivia question! I never would have thought of something like this.

Ugh, my numbers weren't adding up so that's why I never submitted an answer. I don't think I was finding all the right pics.
For example, is the 123B variant cover a wraparound? I could only count 7 raptors on the photos that I found of it.
Either way, an engaging trivia question.

Yes, it's why I had to pull my actual copy out, because I couldn't find a good enough image of the full wrap around. It was hard enough finding a good image of the only thing I didn't own, the #101 cover original.
