Houston--what to bring
The Houston show takes place at the end of March. Is anyone here going besides me? Is there anything in particular you would like me to bring down? I'm going to be traveling pretty light this time, so let me know.
Houston Show
Hi Stan!
Sorry to be posting so close to the show, but I just registered this morning so I could find out for sure if you were still coming to the con. Definitely going - you & Derec Aucoin are my main draw for this one! The con that Lone Star put on back in October was pretty fun, although this one has far fewer guests...
Are you going to bring any original artwork? I'm not into collecting panel pages, I'm more of a pinup type collector (like the ones I've occasionally seen for sale on the Dark Horse site), so if you have any of those lying around that you'd like to sell, I'm your man.
Will you be sketching?
Very much looking forward to seeing you again - I met you here in Houston back around 1987 or 88, before I even knew UY existed. My only exposure to you at that point had been the Gwimbear/Munden's Bar story you did in an early issue of Grimjack. I still have the awesome sketch you did of him (Gwimbear) for me, it's one of my all-time favorite originals. Hope to add more of your art to my collection!
Thanks,
Roland

I'll be bringing along some cover originals, as well as con drawings such at those that are used for the back cover of the comics.
I will be doing sketching--simple drawings for free (if you supply the paper) and more elaborate commissioned drawings. I'll also bring along some cloissone pins and early trades.
