Big Usagi Week (a.k.a., They're MINE at last!)

I'm having one of those odd synchronicity moments. Within the past month, I've managed to grab the rest of the Usagi Yojimbo TPBs that I was missing, except for the new Vol. 2 which I had pre-ordered. The same week I finally get my Usagi Vol. 2 to complete the collection happens to be the same week I stumble over an Usagi TMNT figure at the local Target.

Once that shoot was done, Usagi took his rightful place on the toy shelf next to somewhat like-minded people. Bigger image one click away (also about 115K):

Congratulations.

I went to Toys R Us after my weekly cartoonists' lunch and saw they had a few Usagi toys on the Ninja Turtles rack--even one with the DVD packaged inside.

It looks like Usagi is a lot more available this year. I have yet to see Gen on the racks.
