I've received a couple of e-mails from people who want me to bring specific items to Anime North. If you are one of them, please identify yourself to me. I won't have a table there and will be carrying the things in my portfolio. Remember--just because you ask for something, does not obligate you to buy it.
If anyone else wants me to bring anything, e-mail me or post your want list on this thread.
See you.

Dear Sakai-Sensei;I may have already requested this, but, I would really like to get my mitts on the "Dragonbellow Conspiracy" trade paperback. They are hard to find up here. I would be most grateful. Domo, arigato. Ja,mata.

It's already packed, along with the miniature set and action figure you requested.Anonymous wrote:Dear Sakai-Sensei;I may have already requested this, but, I would really like to get my mitts on the "Dragonbellow Conspiracy" trade paperback. Sakai-sensei; I look forward to seeing you in person. It's not often that one gets to meet his favorite artist. I consider it a rare privilege. Domo, arigato gozimas.

We returned from Toronto Tuesday night. Sharon and I had a great time at Anime North. I also got to meet a few of the Dojo posters--Agent W 7 dressed as Usagi, Otter from Australia, and others. I did a drawing workshop, was at the meet-and-greet and the brunch, Frank Miller and I did a formal presentation, and we did a bunch of interviews.
In the off-times, I was wandering the halls marveling at the costumes. I'm not that knowledgable about the current anime and manga, so my favorite was the girl in the wonderful Godzilla costume. I had to take a picture with her.
We were taken to Niagara Falls on Monday. We've seen taller falls but Niagara is so huge, it's the most impressive falls I've ever seen. You just can't appreciate it unless you see it in person.

Stan, it was a huge honor and pleasure to meet you and your lovely wife Sharon at AN. I honestly did not know how I was going to approach you at the Meet and Greet on Friday without completely geeking out, and you saved me the trouble. Not many cosplayers get to meet, let alone be complimented by their character's own creator.
Thanks again for making my entire con!:D
