Samurai Warrior

Post by Gen San »

Flitting through mags in WHSmiths earlier today, looking for something to pique my interest, picked up a copy of Retro Gamer.

Opened it up, and nearly fell down, when first page I looked at had Usagi on!

4 page spread on the Samurai Warrior game from '87 - wish I still had the game - just used to end up falling on my sword through dishonour.

More about it here http://www.usagiyojimbo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2405 as a mate of mine was responsible for writing it :)

Shock was finding it just by chance! You don't expect that sort of thing.

Guess I should read the DojoBoard more often/indepth...

Hey Mayhem, do you think the folks at Retro Gamer would mind if I scanned and reproduced the spread here on the Dojo?

Tbh they probably would sadly, but I'm sure you might be able to get away with something if you used smallish images of the pages. I can always ask and see if there's a compromise...

Retro Gamer #29 is now available at Barnes and Noble (at least my local store has received their copies) and probably other US bookstores.
