Why does Fantagraphics only have new-format printings available for the EVEN #'d issues (2,4,6) While the ODD ones 1,3,5,7 are still in the old format?
Diamond has not had UY Vol 3 for about a year (or at least have been unable to fill an order). I once had an order for vol 3 filled with vol 2, and when I pointed out the mistake the replacement order was never filled.
According to my records, I've had Vol 18 on backorder (with none filled) since July of 2004. We also sold our personal copies to our customers and now our collections are incomplete (E - Mine too!)
Thanks

Fantagraphics reprints the books in the new format as they go out of print.TheQuestionMan wrote:Eddie

According to Fantagraphics (and I talked to Kim Thompson about this about 2 weeks ago), all 7 books are in print and available, with the exception of Book 1 which was pretty much sold out with one mega-order. A new edition of Book 1 is already schedule (with the new format). Your retailer should have no problem ordering Book 3 from Diamond, or you can order it directly from Fantagraphics.
Travels with Jotaro has been out of print for about a year, but it, along with a lot of other DH Usagi books, is scheduled for reprinting in early 2007.
