Late and lame...

Post by cynlee »

Okay... I admit, I've been lazy about coming here lately, and when I do show up, and see all the posts, I get really lazy and sometimes don't go through all of them... So if this is OLD NEWS please delete.

BUT-- a guy at Mikey's says that NOT only did he get to meet Stan, but SPACE USAGI IS APPEARING IN TMNT-FAST FORWARD!

Now, I am NOT fond of FF-- they've ruined a perfectly good TMNT cartoon-- but it's been TRYING to be better-- and the news that Space Usagi would show up would be freaking awesome!!

So-- I know it must be true-- but where on this site can I read more about it??

This is the first I've heard about a Space Usagi appearence coming up on any TMNT cartoon.

You will probably want to slap me for this, but what is "TMNT: Fast Forward" supposed to be?

Yes, Space Usagi is slated to appear in next season's TMNT. I understand that the Turtles are in the future, hence the name "Fast Forward". I think SU will appear in a two part story.

I withheld announcing it here because the deals have not officially been signed.

One of the reasons for going to New York is to see the 4Kids people there, the producers of the TMNT animated series.

Strictly as tourists, eh? :)

But I recall you said earlier, that anything can happen at any time to a project (or was it Mark Evanier? beats me...), so announcing something that might not take place is kind of provocing bad luck...

Now I can write off the trip as a business expense.

Stan, was this the secret news you had eluded to awhile back (like way back before SDCC 2006)?

I'm assuming by that response that it's still under wraps!
