New(?) animated Usagi?

Post by Steve Hubbell »

I recently received an e-mail (from someone on the Groo mailing list) with a link to this page and thought it was worth sharing... I don't know if it is something new, or if it has been posted before...

Check it out, it's pretty frantic...

I did that when Sharon and I were in Japan, guests of Tezuka Osamu Production (that's why Astro Boy appears on the first frame). We were taken to the Tezuka Museum in Takarazuka, outside of Kyoto. The basement of the museum is a replica of an animation studio, where visitors can draw a second or two of animation. There are design guides you can follow if you don't know how to draw. Every so often, an animatronic Dr. Tezuka would turn around from his drawing board to give words of encouragement.
