Easy now....

So, when was Panda Khan on the market? Could the Geishu house have a Mongol in the woodpile?

Re: Panda Khan
I see Dave Garcia and Monica Sharp every year at the San Diego Con. Dave still does art, but as far as I know, there are no plans to bring Panda Khan back to comics.Jack Staff wrote:Does anyone remember him and does anyone know what happened to him?

Panda Khan
If I recall correctly, Panda Khan started as a back-up feature in Colleen Doran's "A Distant Soil" while it was published by Warp Graphics and Apple Comics. Dave and Monica self-published several issues under their Abacus Press company. After the Turtles boom, I didn't see much else on Panda Khan, aside from a pin-up page here and there. I corresponded with Monica and Dave years ago when I was designing a newsletter for the local Starfleet (Star Trek) club... Dave used to do little spot illustrations for Starlog and other magazines, and I wrote them for permission to use some of Dave's art. I enjoyed their letters, but I haven't wrote them in a few years now.
But, anyway, if you can find some of the Panda Khan issues around, do pick them up. It was a very well executed, nice book... extremely missed....
