Questions for Stan
Hello Stan, I read that the Usagi color specials take place further ahead then the current continuity, does that also go for The Green Parsimmon story too? Because I see that it is included in Usagi book 11: Seaons. Also can anyone out there help me out and tell me besisdes #53-60, what other storys are in The Duel at Kitanoji book? and where did they originally appear? Thanks!

Yes, The Green Persimmon was supposed to have been part of the Color timeline. It was actually to have preceded Color Specials 1, 2, & 3, as it is the story of how Usagi meets up with Tomoe and Noriyuki.
I'm not sure how we will fix this when the stories are reprinted in the trades. We may re-reprint Persimmon, or I may have to write a new story to replace it.
A Lesson is Courtesy was originally serialized in four issues of The Dark Horse Extra, a tabloid sized promotion that DH was publishing for comic books stores. They were priced at 25 cents each, but more often was just given away by the stores. Duel at Kitanoji also contains the story notes, covers, and a sketchbook section of the evolution of the cover art.

What about Critters #38? It says in the concordance that it takes place between (Fantagraphics)#33-34 but at the end I notice Usagi was telling a story to Tomoe and Lord Noriyuki. Does this too take place in the color specials continuity? Also regarding Critters #50, is it intended to take place between (Fantagraphics)#26-27 like it says on the concordance? And The Dark Horse 2001 special, where is this story's place in the collected books? Thank you.
