My eyes are brown.
Dave and Monica will most likely be at San Diego. They live nearby, and have been regular San Diego con-goers almost as long as I have been.
DH does not offer subscription services, however there are companies who specializes in them (such as Westfield). I haven't used any of them so I can't really recommend one over the other. Gary Nishimura used to offer them when he owned Gary's Corner Book Store. He still sells comics but I don't know if he's contiuned the mail order. I'll ask him the next time I see him. The good thing about ordering them from Gary is that the books are signed.

Stan, if you are indeed Japanese, surely your eyes should be black
My kids in Japan (schoolkids) all said they had black eyes. I told them they had brown eyes, they wouldn't believe me! They also said my Filipino/American friend had blue eyes (while looking at them!) because she was a foreigner! lol

lol, too true. I had people tell me the green traffic lights were blue! Apparantly years ago they actually were more of a bluey green, but changed to green. A lot of older people still say 'blue light'. I also understand that there a lot more variations on blue/green and often they are seen as the same colour.
Most of my kids said I had green eyes. They are blue with a little green, but 100% of them said they had black eyes, 'cos that's what Japanese people have! Still, while it was funny the kids said my Filipino/American friend had blue eyes, it's sad that the stereotype of foreigners (ie Americans) is that they all have blue eyes.
Also, ask the kids to draw the sun, and they will invariably colour it red, as opposed to Aussie kids being brought up with yellow
Just goes to show . . . something.
