I don't see Peter often, mostly because we live on opposing coasts. However, we have one of those friendships that whenever we do see each other, it's like no time at all had elapsed since the last time. The only reminders of time passing are our thinning hair and growing kids. One of the big incentives for my going back east was to see Peter again, and to ride one of his 15 segways. There will be a similar photo on the back cover of an upcoming issue of UY.
I see Kevin Eastman once or twice a year, at conventions.
Aww
Im not 50- but- Still- Most people these daysdo not really look their age hehe- Do youthink you will draw your current self, and post it in your Comic, like as current Image? ^^ That would be cool.

I've been doing Usagi for 20 years. There was another character that predates Usagi called Nilson Groundthumper. I've also worked with other peoples' characters in limited runs or one-shots--Riblet, Grendel, Nocturnals, and Simpsons to name a few.Lance wrote:Dear Mr. Sakai,
If you are 50, how long have you been doing the Usagi Yojimbo comics for? And, have you mafe any other comics?
Just curious

New here, HAPPY BIRTHDAY ME~!
Hiyeeeeeeeeeee!! I'm new here, but I've read Usagi Yojimbo for a long time now. Also caught him on the turtles a couple of times!!! I came to this site about two years ago and nothing was happening, never came back-SORRY! I came in search of fans of the genre, and the master sensei himself!!! And, I found them! Heh! Mr. Sakai, My brother and I are working on a comic right now too, we want your opinion on something. Do you think comics over the internet, like you read them on a website instead of there in your hand, are a good thing? It's cheaper than trying to make them at COPYWORKS (Money grubbing-Grrrs!) And no one has to publish it, nya? On the other hand, there's nothing there to hang onto! We're torn about the whole thing, it's not like the comic is gonna get rave reviews on a newstand anyhow, but still. Would you work on the internet medium, or stick with the old paper and blue pencil?
P.S. I am 22 today, and I still don't know squat!!
Biyeeeeeeeeeeeee!
