Question for Stan

Post by Andy »

Mr. Sakai, I am a cartoonist with a small strip that appears monthly in a small children's magazine. I am a big fan of yours and would value your opinion of my work. Would you be willing to take a look at a sample of my work to critique and possibly offer advice?

I'm not great at critiquing, but I'd be more than happy to look at your work and give my opinions. Do you have a website, or printed work?

At the Emerald City Con, Diana and Bob Schrek were doing critiques. It's a hard thing to do. The best critique I ever saw was by Mark Evanier. He doesn't do it often, but he does it well.

My website is www.geocities.com/andrewwales2001. It has not been updated in quite a while, though. My printed work appears in three children's magazines: Boy's Quest, Hopscotch and Fun for Kids.

Is there an email address where I could forward a sample to you?

I tried clicking onto your website, but got a notice that it could not be found. You can e-mail me stuff through the dojo website. There is an e-mail icon at the bottom of this posting. Don't send too much art, though. It takes a while to download.

Extra dot

That's right, for some reason I put an extra dot at the end of my address. So, what did you think Ziritron?
