MCCC T-shirt contest!
This contest is for a Motor City Comic-con 2010 T-shirt, X-large (that is the only size I have). It is a black shirt, with a Groo/Rufferto/Usagi/Spot design by Sergio Aragones and myself.
Since the prize is a shirt, the contest should be about the same, right? Many of you know that I usually count the number of dots on Usagi's "shirt" on the covers. Some of you have bought original covers with dots and numbers, usually on the upper right corner. Each dot represents 100 dots on Usagi's kimono, and anything between hundreds is written as a number. The cover for UY 132 (Taiko, part 1) is posted on the Upcoming section of this website. It is even in black and white so you can see it better.

The contest:
How many dots are on Usagi's shirt/kimono? This also includes the crooked triangle you can see through the open part of his hakama/pants.
The rules:
1. One entry/guess per Dojo member. Make your guesses on this thread. Do NOT PM it to me. Only guesses made here will be counted.
2. The contest ends Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 8 AM Pacific Time. The member with the closest guess (be it over or under the actual amount) is the winner. In the event there is a tie, the one who posted first will be deemed the winner.
3. The number of dots that I had counted will be official, even in the event that I accidentally miscounted while drawing them in.
4. This is open to all UY Dojo members worldwide. I will mail out the shirts via US post. Once I have posted the shirt, it is literally out of my hands and I will not be responsible for any damage or loss of the shirt.
5. Do not post your address when making a guess. I will contact the winner and ask for a mailing address, before posting the result on this thread.
6. You can request the shirt be autographed by both Sergio and myself, but that may take an additional month or more.
7. I think that is it for the rules, but if we think of more and if they will add to the fairness of this contest, we will add them to the list.
Good guessing.

1409 is my guess!
Some of those near the edges are hard to decide if they're dots or a fuzzy edge!
Good luck everyone!

After a challenging estimating process, I'm going 1424 as I was initially going to go with 1422, but, I'd rather not tie, so I will just go a little higher!
