My exhibit at the Japanese American National Museum ended today with a book signing. FB buddy Nicole Sixx was there and posted almost a hundred photos:

JANM exhibit closing day

The closing was great Stan! Thank you for making it so special for all of your fans. Jeremy and I had a wonderful time chatting with you while you authographed our three trades and couldn't believe you were drawing Usagi's for everyone. Jeremy later told me that the person we saw today was the real Stan Sakai b/c he checked the Usagis you drew for us and he said that they were perfectly drawn.
Jeremy really knows all of your Usagi stories really well and he's always telling me things like Tomoe is older than Noriyuki and from our brief exchange today I wanted to show off his knowledge of the trades with you. It's wonderful to be able to share the joy of comic books with my son after I've been reading them non-stop since 1970.
I also met Nicole briefly as we were leaving and I love all the pictures she posted - too bad I missed that awesome looking cake!
I'm very happy I came to the exhibit several weeks ago b/c we were able to see the huge banner outside of the museum with the full drawing of Usagi and Spot - today the lower 2/3rds were covered up which was too bad. It reminded me of A Kite Story when the kite maker was always so proud of his giant kites.
Take care and thanks again.
