Um Hi I'm planing to create a Furry comic about a 17th Century Pirate/Privateer based on Henry Morgan, that's 1660 to 1690 time frame. I plan to have my Cat character meet the grandchild of Usagi I've got to figure out how he or she got to the Caribbean, most likely this person would be kidnapped by the Spanish,
Given the Fact that Japan in this time frame was closed off from Europeans,

At the moment, it's meant to be late 00s, so around 1607 or 1608 I believe.
With a breeze comes a storm, but then you'll all be washed away...

Re: Timeframe of Usagi Yojimbo
So I was Right about guessing that the Japanese character would be his Grand Child, and yes I know about the Edit about the Death of any Japanese leaving or coming back from overseas. It's good that when he or she landed no one was there to report it, The other problem he will have is changing Pieces of Eight into Japanese coin, it would mean the Dutch.
Getting to the Dutch or at least the area were the Dutch are would be a problem in it's self, or at least were the Japanese trade with them the sea side towns that were near the Island that they were stuck on.
