Unless I'm missing something it looks like they only sell their products online. That's probably why I've never heard of them. They have a lot of licenses for "Metal" bands which is kind of funny.

They usually have a booth and an offsite pop-up store at SDCC every year. They might do some other conventions, but primarily online sales only.

Oh, this is both exciting and interesting news!

Their TMNT figures seem to have a certain vintage vibe, so I wonder what we might expect for an Usagi figure.

Something old, something new, something white, something blue?

Oh, they're a very established company catering to adult collectors. They do tons of vintage-style figures.

Can't wait to see Usagi!

Very excited to hear this news! Looking forward to a lot of new licenses and Usagi merch in the coming year or two. I’m going to eventually have to buy another IKEA detolf to display it all. I’ve already got one cabinet stuffed.

Ah, hadn't looked up their TMNT line.

For those as ignorant as me: they're based on the original toy line from the late 80s, only remade as high quality, super poseable, bigger figures. So, retro look but modern quality. I suppose their Usagi would be a similar remake of the original 80s figure.

Super7 has been around for a while. They started to gain traction with their ReAction line which are retro-inspired pop culture figures similar to vintage Star Wars figures. Several years ago they picked up production and distribution of the He-Man Masters of the Universe Classics (MOTUC) and He-Man Filmation toy lines from Mattel. Super7 handled that for a while with varying degrees of success. Mattel has taken He-Man back but Super7 has transitioned to Thundercats and other licenses such as Toxic Crusader, Ren and Stimpy, Voltron, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The MOTUC line was always about creating modern figures based on the vintage He-Man toys. Filmation was about He-Man cartoon-based figure designs.

So, in that spirit, their TMNT figures are heavily based on modern updates of the original Playmates TMNT toys. I would expect that Super7's Usagi figure will probably be more inspired by the original Playmates toy rather than the current comic design.

NECA also has access to the TMNT license. It wouldn't surprise me if we see NECA also release an Usagi figure and I would expect that would be based on his cartoon design. NECA has TMNT comic, movie, video game, and cartoon sub-lines while Super7 is sticking to vintage toy-inspired designs exclusively so far.

Coincidentally, Sensei Sakai lettered some of the original Masters of the Universe mini comics.
Best wishes to all.
