akemashita omedeto gozaimasu

That's the proper greeting for the new year.

"Akemashita omedeto gozaimasu" very loosely means "please be happy at this opening"

The proper reply is "Honen mo yoroshiku onegaishimasu" or "continue to be happy this year".
