Okay! Two months and the new issue is out! "Komainu" is a fun story. The return of Kitsune, with Kiyoko as her new travelling companion. Great to see them both again. Nice look at another facet of Kitsune's skills-as an out-and out thief. Brazen, too-leaving that top. Good give and take between Boss Hayashi and Shirai. The festival setting and the gangsters' watch during it were fun to watch. Stan Sakai does know how to draw crowds! Kitsune's flirting with Jotaro was a nice bit, as was her repartee with Usagi. They know each other a little too well by now, don't they? A clever ending (didn't see that one coming) and a lesson for Jotaro. Great looking cover too, very "Lone Wolf and Cub"! Back cover is a riot, VERY cute!

I especially like that back cover. David Oakes approached me at the last San Diego Con with a whole case of custom made Lego superheroes and other characters. I remember my favorite being the Golden Age Flash with the wings on his helmet. Besides Usagi, he also had a Groo and a Grendel. Apparently, there is a big network of these Lego customizers.

The Lego Usagi's ears are made of spear tips from another set and his sword is from the Ninja/Samurai set.
