New DojoBoard
Hello everyone,
It seems clear: 6 people cared to vote and 50% of them could live with the new board while the rest actually likes it.
So I've make the switch.
But don't worry too much: The old board is still there and with a bit of luck, I'll be able to copy the old discussions over to the new board so nothing will be lost. If you need something from the old board, then follow this link.

Sure, I just didn't get that far, yetTodd Shogun wrote:Everything looks great. Is there a way we can customize this board? Like add cool UY graphics and such?

How about drawing a set of cool UY smileys?

Well as for banner ads: I didn't get that far, yet, but I fear that I'll have to add something to the DojoBoard: The ad for the UY calendar (they haven't sold enough and that will endanger the next calendars! So if you still need a present for someone, buy one!)
I'll make sure that the ads won't annoy (only static stuff, no blinks, blips, anims) and only UY related, though.
I'll also put the DojoWarp onto the pages so you can navigate the rest of the site more easily.

avatars
The avatars don't seem to be working again, so I deleted mine. Can you help Aaron? It's not a big deal, just a nice little detail.
And, thanks Aaron for going through the mountain of trouble to revamp the board and the UYD in general.

Re: avatars
What exactly is not working? All I see is that my avatar was gone all of a sudden :-/Wily Pueo wrote:The avatars don't seem to be working again, so I deleted mine. Can you help Aaron? It's not a big deal, just a nice little detail.
I feel that it's a permission problem (sometimes, the files are created with as user yojimbo which is correct and at other times with the permissions of the web server which is not correct).
I'll keep an eye on this. Please tell me when you find something changes.

Hi!
Newbie guy here. I'm a big fan of Usagi Yojimbo and supplemented my reading with all the Trade paperbacks this year.
I also bought a non-Usagi Stan Sakai page from him at SDCC, one of the Shi pages about the mad sword smith.
Has anyone here ever read Dave Lowry's book AUTUMN LIGHTNING about his studies in Shin Kage ryu swordsmanship?
