Is that Book 18 or 15?

Or is it AP copy #15?

Thanks, I have fallen behind, then I just got everybody added and I closed the wrong screen and didn't save the changes to the file...

But I did manage to make some new (better) table images which I will upload soon.

In the last crop of HC books to appear on market place I needed 3 of them. The Baltimore Comic con left my resources to compete for them sorely lacking. So congratulations to Furystorm. But.........

Thanks to a helpful Dojo member and a buy it now price I was able to get 2 of the 3 I needed. Picked up book 13 126/400 and book 15 214/400

A special thanks and best wishes to Go for helping me out.

Okay, my list is pretty pathetic...one HC.

But I'm trying to remedy that.

I recently purchased "Bridge of Tears", number 68.

Plus I have all six sketchbooks...

#1 375
#2 447
#3 no number visible
#4 55
#5 no number visible
#6 no number visible.

I'm trying to get some more HC's but they are few and far between.

*Ping* Mission accomplished: Collection complete!

Well, I kind of expected a fanfare or something like "Level up", but then again, this is real life, not a computer game...

Nevertheless, I'm proud to proclaim the completion of my HC collection. Yeah, I did it :D :D

Now I've got Book 3 (292 of 500) and Book 7 (235 of 500);

My former Book 7 (205 of 500) should turn up at MikeM shortly.

Oh and, Steve, while you're at it: my Books 23 are (72 of 350) and (132 of 350), not (23 of 350). Thank you!

Edit: As far as I see it I'm now one of only three Europeans having a complete HC set; feels good, too 8) .

Anybody else, besides the Dojo members who posted their new Book #24 info on the Book 24 Hardcover thread, want to add new books to the list?

(I'm just bumping this thread until I get the new list ready to post) :D

Well, I've got to add three books to your list, Steve:

Thomas: Book 24 AP 11 of 350
Mayhem: Book 24 AP 12 of 350
rs2: Book 24 AP 13 of 350

Unless, of course, rs2 were superstitious, in which case I'd switch my book with his...

AP = Artist Proof; these are extra books given to Stan directly; and then there are the PCs = Publisher Copies, given to the publisher.
There are between 10 - 40 books printered out of count, so the actual number of books around is a bit higher than stated in the books.

Could be one of those library bindings; these are "just" normal TPBs in a hard sturdy binding, especially for libraries, where people tend to, well, be less careful with the books.

There are some very few real HCs without numbers, however; they must have gone through numbering process unnoticed. Good ways to tell a limited HC from a library binding are:
1. The cover: HCs feature a linen cover, with art (characters like Usagi or Jotaro) being embossed in it.
2. A dust cover: only the HCs have a dust cover, featuring the picture otherwise seen on TPBs. That, of course could get lost, so if it has a dust cover, it's very likely to be a limited HC, if it has none, look for the linen cover.
3. The tip in plate with extra art, number, signature and sketch: for the Fantagraphics HCs, these tip in plates had no extra art, but a more elaborate sketch by Sensei. They were glued in after printing/binding and some plates may have come off afterwards (I've got one that way).
The Dark Horse HCs have them as an extra page with additional art, so those possibly could not go missing; ripping them out would just be insane vandalism

Thanks for the info once again :D
From now on i'll know which is what.
So the one I saw was for sure a HC, it had the dust cover and all, just missing the tip in art page. I think someone ripped it out for sure then lol
thats just wrong :/
