KRS exclusive was available at all three stores at 11am PST this morning and sold out in about 10-15 minutes. I ordered from Black Flag, but shipping is terrible ($9). I should have checked the others beforehand, as East Side is $5 shipping and no tax. So if you plan on trying to order it the next couple mornings, check East Side first. KRS is $5 shipping but adds tax. Then Black Flag was no tax, but $9 shipping.

I was a definitely a fan of McFarlane's Spider-Man title that came out in 90/91 and welcome this NYCC Usagi homage, but a samurai with nunchaku? I've also wondered how they can call the last surviving 'ninja' turtle 'the last ronin.' Not trying to be the history police but these just look and sound awkward to me.

I realize he was paying homage to Todd's comic, but it drives me bonkers when artists give Usagi five fingers (human hands).

Slab City Emil Cabaltierra variant cover for an upcoming issue (not sure which series). I'm gonna guess another Wanderer's Road, since issue #1 is usually the popular cover for variants. Slab City puts out some of the best variants IMO, and I'm a fan of Emil (I got an Usagi and Gen commission from him a few years back), so this is one I'll have to pick up.

Umm, what's this Dojo variant I just read about? I stayed off Facebook for half a day and now we have ourselves a Dojo cover in the works?

I wouldn't say "we", as in the Dojo.... it is members of the Usagi Yojimbo! Facebook page that are attempting to organize something.

While it's nice to see all the interest in Usagi, some of the 'details' has something to be desired.

The line below is what I saw on Facebook and completely glossed over the "this group" part.
creating a variant cover for Usagi that would be exclusive to this group and the Dojo...
