I have confirmed that I will be there on Saturday and Saturday night. A little change of plans however is that my wife can't make it, but my friend who is a comic nerd will be joining me instead. I hope that its ok. (I dont want to travel by myself)
Looking forward to meeting you folks in person and blowing some hard earned cash on some Usagi merchandise!

Called Benihana today and made reservations for May 19th at 7:30 pm. I also confirmed that the Hibachi tables ARE designed to seat 10 people, with room for a possible eleventh person.
The time for the dinner will conflict with the Star Trek Voyage play "Housecall" featuring Robert Picardo and Ethan Phillips which starts at 6:30 pm. Bummer!
The Fan Appreciation Party starts at 9:00 pm at the Crown Plaza Hotel, so there shouldn't be TOO MUCH of a conflict with that for anyone planning on attending it.

Morna-san & husband (Gary)
Shaxper & wife (Kiera)
David Petersen
Stan Sakai
Myself & nephew (Nick) - finally confirmed that my nephew can go
MikeM & wife ( ? ) - still pending final confirmation
Looking like a perfectly sized group for a hibachi style table, if I remember correctly how big they are.
Dinner will probably include more pictures, more chatting, more stuff like that, (no pestering Stan and David mercilessly), etc.
Has everyone checked out the web-site for Benihana's?

I took the liberty of inviting Sergio to join us. He doesn't know his plans for that night yet. If he is free, he will have dinner with us. Perhaps he'll tell us the times he had met Rocky Aoki, the founder of Benihana--once in Iceland, of all places. So, there may be 11 of us.

I was hoping that you would extend an invitation to Sergio...Stan Sakai wrote:Steve Hubbell wrote:Called Benihana today and made reservations for May 19th at 7:30 pm. I also confirmed that the Hibachi tables ARE designed to seat 10 people, with room for a possible eleventh person.

Well if there is a time conflict, we're with the Sensai all the way.Steve Hubbell wrote: The Fan Appreciation Party starts at 9:00 pm at the Crown Plaza Hotel, so there shouldn't be TOO MUCH of a conflict with that for anyone planning on attending it.
But if time does permit, Keira and I are staying at the Crown Plaza, so we'd love to head over to the party with some fellow Dojo-ers.

Mike, I believe your list is accurate. That rocks if Sergio can come. I was thinking of inviting Guy Davis and Rosie but I guess we're at capacity already.
