Ahhhh, looking at all the goodies you've got on display makes me want more and more of them....

But I've got to pull myself together; money's a bit tight right now...

I'll try ordering through your shop as soon as the new HC and sketchbook will be available there. A friend has asked whether the older sketchbooks might be available, too, but as far as I know, the lower numbers (1-6, I guess) are sold out, aren't they?!

I'd like to say thank you here as well to Kyle for the badges, the exclusive Lego and the day in LA!
I spent the convention days with Eltanin, it was so good to finally meet with him as well! This community is the best!

This was my first time at a US convention - and why not start with the biggest one -, I really enjoyed it, however it was exhausting...

And one quesiton:
Is there any Dojo member who is attending to Rose City Comic Con in September? If yes, and willing to do a favor for me, please send a PM.

I've been to SDCC in the past and know how crazy and stressful that convention can be when trying to buy items.
Not only that but to lug stuff back home, shop for boxes & ship items out to us on his own time.
Kyle is very kind & generous to offer his help to this dojo, it is so VERY much appreciated
I cannot say enough about how awesome he is.

Stan was very busy with SDCC & had to fly out right after to another show in Hawaii.

I love that you got the anniversary poster. That is one of my favorites. My mom is from the Big Island, so I love your Hawaiian sketch in the sketchbook. Your original art is a beautifully detailed piece. Congratulations!

The Dojo is full of some of the most generous people. Thanks for sharing your stories of the people you are grateful for here. That makes me happy.

I wanted to add my gratitude to for Kyle and Stan too. Stan ask if he wants us to bring something special to each con here on the dojo boards. I missed out on the Stan Sakai Variant Cover of the Usagi Yojimbo / TMNT comic on his website. I asked about it here on the dojo boards and Stan happened to be in Hawaii where a LCBS had a copy. He went out of his way to pick one up for me. Amazing generosity of his time.

Kyle, as we all know here, has been offering to help a lot of us here during SDCC. And he packages everything safely and mails it out to all of us. As you said, Kyle does this on his own time. He doesn't ask for extra money on for his time (but always feel free to tip that man ). And he uses his own connection to the entertainment industry to get SDCC passes for people like Krash01 and another Dojoer. Kyle actions remind me there are more good people in the world than the negativity the news focuses on.

And of course it's always a pleasure to see Stan and his family.

It was great to get to see SDCC. I had a blast and a lot of fun in these 5 days full of comics, toys, panels, friends, and giant burritos.

I would also like to thank Kyle for his continued generosity and help with all things SDCC!
He helped me with my biggest SDCC haul yet. I never thought I would find the anniversary print and the Banners print. I'm so thankful for Kyle and for Stan helping make this SDCC one of the best yet.
I love the new print from Julie and the new Usagi winter print!
I also got a fantastic sketch of Inspector Ishida in the volume 32 tpb!
Kyle even stopped by Frank Cho's table and picked up a Harley Quinn print for me!
So thankful for the DOJO!!!

I think my favorite piece is the "Picasso" Tomoe (at least that's what I'm calling it) because of the great story behind it. Stan had drawn the Tomoe seen on the left of that photo, but somebody (I forget who) told him the eyes were off, so Stan said he'd fix it. When he came back, the "fix" was Picasso Tomoe. It cracks me up every time I look at it.
