The Return of Zylla!
I'm plotting the story for 66-68 tentatively called "Sumi-e". It will be my tribute to those giant Japanese monsters climaxing with the return of Zylla from the early Fantagraphics issue, all grown up.
For legal reasons of course, my characters will only resemble the originals. Issue 65 will cover feature those giant centipedes from Rodan.
I also have a tribute to giant Japanese robots filed away, but that one will have to be "not related to Usagi continuity"--a plot device I've already figured out.

It actually works better as an Usagi story. Don't worry though, it won't compromise the character. It will have to be done as a four issue mini-series.Todd Shogun wrote:Stan, might I suggest the giant robot story for Space Usagi?
By the way, Zylla will only appear in the last part of the Sumi-e story (UY 66-68 ).
Somehow, the "Tale of Two Robots" segment from "Robot Carnival" comes to mind.Stan Sakai wrote:It actually works better as an Usagi story. Don't worry though, it won't compromise the character. Will it be Tomoe or Chizu that wears the pink armor? (j/k)
