San Diego Con 2006

The 2006 SDCC is fast approaching. As usual the UYD will be in attendance! I haven't planned anything out yet to celebrate the Dojo's 10th. Does anyone have any suggestions? Who all will be there? This year I'll be there on Preview Night...perhaps there will be an opportunity to do something then (if you're a 4-day member).
If anything, we'll probably meet up around Stan's booth Friday and/or Saturday like usual. Let me know if you'll be there in attendance! Don't forget to wear your UYD 10th Anniversary Albedo NR 2 T-shirt!!!

I'll be there for all four days (though need to go buy the pass I suppose). Maybe I'll save the UY shirt for Friday then

Hi-- plan on being there ALL four days by hook or by crook! But for sure Saturday.
*blows dust off of site* Ain't been around in a bit-- awesome opening thing I saw when coming here-- that little powerpoint thingie at the beginning!

Hi Cynlee, that's a pleasure to see you here again
Except John "Gaffey" and Steve (who was warned) you are the first to notice this animation, a flash one (not a powerpoint). I am pleased you enjoyed !
And I hope you will enjoy SDCC !

I think a lot of people have pop-up blockers working
I only noticed when checking at work cos I have one running on my home PC.

OOO you are in luck-- unless I still can't figure it out-- but I now have a digital camera, and I will try to take you a few pics (I still can't figure out how the heck to change the timer-- it takes like several seconds before the pic is taken, and if you move the camera, blur!!!!)!
I sooo wish I'd had it in Feb., but that is life!
And that is your flash movie? IT's a wicked cool opening! I was like-- WOW things sure have changed around here!
Oh, and do you want anything special from the Con this year?

Do we talk of daguerreotype or camera ?
i am sure it will be ok, the only problem with digital camera is that they are very sensitive to enlightment, you should use indoors a flash to avoid bad result, but for my own i prefer natural light if it is possible.

i did some flash movies this year (i wish i could do better work...), this one is a team work with Todd
I don't find things have changed here, it is a good place to spare time, to get interesting informations about Usagi and to penpal with nice and gentle people !

There is a very small chance I will be attending, depending upon a number of circumstances beyond my control. I'll let you guys know if I'll be there. I'd really like the opportunity to meet you all (as well as see Stan again!).

The big hurdle would be finding a place to stay in San Diego.
