Are there any duck characters in UY?

Ok, ok, I am a DDuck (it goes for both Donald and Duffy) fan.
As so, I was wondering if exists or has existed any duck character in UY?
At first I thought only mammals were characters, but I noticed that there are also snakes and turtles at least.

Sorry, I cannot claim to remember ever seeing any ducks making an appearance in a Usagi Yojimbo story.
But, I can post a couple of Stan's illustrations featuring other peoples duck characters.
I just really enjoyed seeing Stan's take on Donald, it is so cool and my copy of this comic holds a favored place in my collection.
Varmints Special #1 - such an ambitious name for a comic, considering the regular Varmints series only ran a couple issues.... one of the few anthropomorhic stories, besides Usagi, which I read and actually liked. That samurai duck character was just hilarious.

I don't think I've ever drawn a duck in Usagi--at least not a funny animal duck. Birds is Usagi's world tend to be just birds.
I don't think I've even drawn a platypus.

It keeps getting better, but, everybody can see that is a Japanese duck, so why isn't there a Japanese flag behind him?
Question: How do you read Usagi? Do you read the English editions, or do you read the books published in Portuguese?

Because I a portuguese, not japanese
As Portugal is being trashed all over Europe becuase of the World Cup, I feel the urge to show everyone that I am portuguese.
As for the UY books, I read the tpb in english.
I don't think there are portuguese versions of it, but, even if there was, I would still be reading it in english.
We are not much in the translate-all trend here. The movies, for instance, are in their original languages but subtitled.

My folks are from Portugal but I was born in Canada. Been to the Acores several times to visit family but never had a chance to go to the main land yet.

There are at least three volumes translated into Portuguese, but they were published by Via Lettera in Brazil I think.

As they were published in Brazil, they probably never have been on sale here in Portugal.
Besides, when I was a mere kid I read the brazilian versions of Marvel and DC...not nice!

Hello Murata - this is the second time I'm greeting you today. I'm Robweiller, I visited Lisboa three years ago in February (attented a student conference, we were hosted in Oeiras) but I'd really love to come back there. It was such a pleasant place to stay.
And I'm sorry about Portugal's loss... tough luck.

I certainly hope you do so, so we can meet and I can show you the night-side of Lisbon.
Although I am not sure we can match the beauty of polish girls. What country you live in...
Currently I cannot offer lodging in my house to you, but I can help in finding a suitable and not pricy place for you to stay.
Last night I was devastated by the defeat, but I am better today. Hopefully someday we will manage to play in the WC Final.
BTW, I expected good things from the polish team. What happened?

A bit late, but anyway...
Wait... Stan Sakai drew a Donald Duck cover? Oh, I see, so he actually drew samurai ducks... but as he says, he hasn't drawn a duck in UY yet. And as far as I've checked in my UY books, you haven't drawn them yet, Mr Sakai.
But well, it's funny to see ducks with katana and dressing like samurai... or ronin... maybe a ninja-duck is missing, but we can't have everything.
And now talking about UY in other languages, I haven't read UY in English yet. I'm just with the Spanish version made by Planeta DeAgostini... good edition, but they've just changed the translator staff and it doesn't feel the same... but it isn't THAT bad in the end (though they've said Saru is male in Grasscutter II even if in the Mask of the Demon book it was said that she's a woman).
