I'm trying to travel light and compact, but if there is something anyone there would like me to bring along--window stickers, magnetic bookmarks, art, etc. you can either post it here, or e-mail me.

Do you have any poster-like pictures of your comic covers? I especially liked the kite festival that was used in the "Art of Usagi Yojimbo" book.

We'll be meeting in Paris on 28th of October in "Arkham", and I'm really looking forward to it...

If there is something that you are particularly looking for, such as the last UY comic to complete your collection or a piece of original art, you can ask for me to bring it to my upcoming appearance. I'll sell it to you or, if it was a giveaway, I'll give it to you. Just because to ask me to bring something, does not obligate you to buy it. It's as simple as that.

I don't have any posters of the covers right now. I believe there were two made as giveaways--The Kite Festival and The Courtesan (printed as the centerfold of the Dark Horse Extra). The Art of UY's cover was also made as a limited edition signed and numbered print that sells for $100. I do have a few copies of the free Emerald City Comicon 2004 poster of a giant Usagi attacking a tank. I'll bring one of those for you.

OK, That got my attention. Was there another Usagi poster featured in Dark Horse Extra besides the Demon Mask promotional poster? If so, can you (or anybody else) provide details (i.e. date, issue, description, etc.)?

Mr. Sakai, I'd like you - if possible - to bring the issues #46, #47 and #93 of Usagi Yojimbo.

I don't have any monthly issues in my collection and I've read that #93 was especially beautiful, so I'd gladly buy them to you when we meet in Paris.

You're right. It was the Demon Mask cover I was thinking of. Both feature a posed Usagi with a large background figure.

I can't promise to bring anything back from Europe. I usually return with much more than I leave with. Sharon has already ordered a bagette. What did you have in mind?

Except for the Enigma's stuff (...) Steve knows he can ask me for France items, i have already in Steve's wishlist : UY mangasize ed 8-9, promotional prints, Paquet's catalog, old interview in Scarce magazine (really interesting one).

I hope the baguette will survive the come back to the USA ^_^

I'm not a beer drinker. In fact, I'm not a drinker of any alchoholic beverage. When I was in Belgium, someone proudly gave me a whole case of selected beer brewed in his home town, and made me promise that I would bring it back to the US. It took up a whole suitcase. I gave most of it to friends who enjoyed it a lot. I did sample some Buffalo Grass vodka in Poland. I declined a second glass saying I don't usually drink alchohol, their reply was, "It's not alchohol. It's vodka!" Five glasses of orujos in Granada was past my limit.

About Belgian chocolates : i never forget to take some when i go to Bruxelles ! ah Bruxelles! i really like this city.

Sensei, I would really, really love to have a picture of Usagi and Jotaro enjoying themselves, since my daughter was very fond of the cover of TPB 19 (so much, in fact, that she wished to have this picture on a T-shirt).
If you had something suitable for a five-year-old girl...

I wonder if baguettes in quebec are much different from baguettes in france...

I had a salmon sandwich on baguette in paris, but I never really thought to really compare it to bread back here.

Err... you guys had it first, so we're the ones with the accent. unless quebec-french was the original, and people in france just developed their own new way cause they wanted to be cool.

there's also hamilton ontario french, which I'm told sounds completely different. and new brunswick french is also probably different.
