You do know that the stories in these two comics have been reprinted in the TPBs, don't you?

I know which stinks because I wish I new back in the day before I hunted for these old ones. but I have every issue to date save for them two. I would then have to begin collecting all of the GN's which I'm sure are hard to come by at this point, Possibly?! Ughh.

Actually, all the trade collections are in print. When they go out of print, they are usually reprinted within 6 months. Fantagraphics and Dark Horse are good about this.

Incredible! A day to be marked in every UY fans calendar!

You can now find the UY Books by Fantagraphics in their Catalog! They even seem to have some old issues in stock! When did UY#7 came out? 1987? You can still order it from them...

Maybe they should put it on eBay :D

Impetuous One!

Forgive a lowly shugyosha for speaking out of turn, but I believe Sakai-Sensei is speaking of the collections in trade paperback form, not the original comic format.

The more pleasant of the local comic shop here has the entire run of TPB formats available, and since "here" can hardly be said to exist at all in metropolitan terms they should be readily available in most places.

Well, my outcry comes from the fact that Fatagraphics sold the UY comic books for over 15 years, now, but until recently, when you looked in their online catalog, they were not listed!

This lead to the confusing situation that when you simply ordered the book from FG, you would get it but when you went to your comic books seller, he would tell you "Sorry, out of print".

Some things just take their time ;-)
