My only concern for Usagi would be that he wouldn't be prepared for their blood being a highly corrosive acid. As long as he could figure that out before it touches him, I think he's got the skills to win.

Cutting them with his sword will destroy the blade, what with the acid blood and all.

I hadn't considered that. It still gives him two shots if he's fighting a single alien, but beyond that...

Oh yea... i didn't think of that.

I dont know very much about the movie Aliens. At first, i thought Usagi could win because he has battled and defeated all kinds of differents montures and demons and stuff before. But if his sword is useless against them, then... i guess Usagi is preety much screwed.
Oh well! lol
Then again, what if he had the magical sword ''grass cutter"?

How would that stand against the alien's acid, or would it be the same??

Oh dear, what to do...
I'm such a big fan of the Alien series. I have all the movies, I played with the toys as a kid and even know their technical name is xenomorph.

I guess it would depend on the scenerio. If it was one on one, maybe. Usagi has proven inventive and lucky in the past when fighting the supernatural. Sometimes swords won't work and Usagi would know this. He'd eventually figure out the the creatures blood was corosive and if surviving this realization concieve of a trap for it.
Now if it was an entire colony, Usagi is pretty much doomed right there. And the colony is the most realitic situation considering if you see one xenomorph theres probably a couple of dozen others, hundreds of eggs, facehuggers, a queen and probably a few in some villagers somewhere.
But since you asked if was just
AN alien I'd go with Usagi.

It depends on the environment and the situation. I can think of various situations where either could prevail. In a stand up fight however, one-on-one in a neutral location where neither would have the advantage, Usagi would win hands down. Here's why: Usagi's skills with the sword are practically unmatched. He's single-handedly taken out large groups of both bandits and ninjas with no problem. He's also battled physically stronger and much larger foes and won (Ocho from Village of Fear for example). His blade is also quite sharp and extremely strong, definitely able to cut through the xenomorph's exoskeleton. Even with concentrated acid for blood, the xenomorph is still no match. Usagi's lightning fast speed with the sword will ensure victory, as the acid would need time to react on his swords. By the time the acid starts to kick in, the xeno would be a headless corpse. That's how fast Usagi is.
It would almost be an unfair match.
I guess that Usagi is doomed against the acid blood.

I pretty much guess that the main concern for Usagi is the acid blood.Once he starts slicing and dicing the Alien his blade will melt!

The acid blood would only take a second to react!

I think that Todd is wrong. The acid blood would only need a second to react.
Even ONE stray drop of alien blood will be able to melt of his thumb. Not to mention the splatter of blood if he chops the aliens head of or stabs him.

In a straight up h2h fight, Usagi would have to work for it, but he could win.
The Alien's tail and speed would be tough to get through, but Usagi has defeated tougher opponents.
Give it to the Ronin 8/10.
His swords are toast though.

I was bored so I did a little doodle. I don't know what Alien looks like so I just did it from memory.

That's amazingly good! And I believe you portrayed the alien with relative accuracy (quite impressive from memory!). I'm not sure the legs are right, but everything else seems exact to me.
BEAUTIFUL work!

roel, once again you impress.
Nice drawing.
As for Usagi vs Alien(s). Remember, Usagi is smart as well. Once he learns about the acid, he will find ANOTHER way to kill the Alien. Come on this is Usagi we are talking about.

Awesome drawing Roel! That's just how I'd envision the Alien meeting his demise if he were to be unfortunate enough to battle Usagi. No chance in Enma's Hell for him!
I still think the acid is a non issue. Usagi's best sword strike would be so fast and so clean, the acid splatter would occur well after Usagi has sliced and diced his way through the exoskeleton. True, some acid would end up damaging his sword, possible even eating it up completely, but that's it. The Alien's tail would pose the largest threat, but he'd somehow have to advance the tail forward when going h2h with Usagi, and I don't think that would work out too well.

I forgot the "Sakai" crossbones.
