Curiousity Question about Katsuichi's students

Okay, in issue #26 in the Fantagraphics run, Usagi says he was the last of 3 students that Katsuichi taught. At first I thought Kenichi was one of the other 2, then I remembered he was sent to Dogora school. So, have the identities of the other 2 students of Katsuichi been introduced? In isse #26, Shubo says he killed one of the people with the same style as Usagi a month before the meeting. Is that true, or was Shubo running his mouth, and if it is true, who is the last unidentified student of Katsuichi and will he ever play a roll in the series?

Shubo killed Shinji's brother, whose name I can't remember right now (Shinji is the name of the older student of Katsuichi-sensei; he seems to be not good enough for Katsuichi, though). The other 2 students were older than Usagi, and have not been introduced yet (or, at least, that's what I think). Shinji and his brother became shugyosha later than Usagi. That makes a total of 6 students taught by Katsuichi: the first unintroduced 2, Usagi, Shinji and his brother, and finally Jotaro.

It'd be nice to see Usagi meeting one of those two students, although I don't know if he has ever meet them in his lifetime. Perhaps Sakai-sensei will make a story someday about it?

P.S.: (off-topic) Man, do I want to go to San Diego next year... it seems you guys had a great time there... By the way, when is it taking place next year? July 22nd to 25th, right?

True, Stan has never let on exactly who the other two students are before he took on Usagi as his pupil. No doubt they are probably as skilled, if not moreso, than Usagi... on the other hand they could be dead! My guess is that they were Tengu and Stan is saving their intro for the Tengu Wars saga... ;)

As far as SDCC goes, yes it will be July 22-25, 2004. They plan is to schedule some kind of Dojo Lunch party... one that we will have to drag Stan to against his will! (j/k) While exploring the local nightlife, Kari and I took note of the many Japanese restaurants in town... Momo looks to be a winner with it's roomy dining area, as most of the other places are shoebox-sized sushi bars. We'll keep ya posted...
