Are we as fans allowed to pass on story ideas that we'd maybe like to see Usagi entangled in, in future issues? If so...

I could easily see him in various parts a la Akira Kurosawas Donzoko (1958) aka The Lower Depths.

Now Usagi has to take care of a daughter. It has to be a daughter cuz he already has a son. It stand to reason.

He'll name her after her mother naturally, and she'll grow up a bit wild, but when in public she'll display such refined manners that they would put the Shogun to shame.

And of course the girl will just be a natural with the sword.

I could go on all day with this story.

And her name would be a Japanese version of "Mary Sue".

I tried starting this thread in a serious manner, I sense alot of sarcasm.

I kind of hoped that maybe Stan would get an idea for a future plotline out of my own posting, as I'd like to see it happen...

I'd love Japanese version of Leone's western "The good, the bad and the ulgy". Usagi, Gen and hmmm maybe Homeless Dog (I don't know how it will be in English) together looking for some treasure and go across country during some great war. Wow, I love this idea My favourite movie and comic

I'd love to see that too. I think that an Usagi storyline set in a steampunk version of the Meiji era (1868–1912) would be pretty cool.

I would like to see another story that describes some cultural job or event, like the kite festival or sea weed farmers stories. Something like Japanesse New Years - mochi pounding. Or all the Japanese new year's traditions. Maybe combine it inspector Ishida. Some crazed religious person feels s/he needs to prepare for the new year fresh start. But s/he takes this to extreams, instead of making things right with people, murders start appearing.

Well, I had the idea that Horoshi finally wants to get even with Usagi, but they choose an indirect approach: by finding an impersonator of Usagi, who committed some evil deeds, so that Usagi is arrested (maybe reluctantly by Inspector Ishida himself, who does not believe Usagi really is the evil doer, however convincing the evidence may be).

Ishida has to find the real killer, so temporarily joins forces with Kitsune and the Rat....

I would love to see Gen and Tomoe in that plot, too, but as yet I have found no convincing way to include them... Gen could stumble over a "Wanted" poster depicting Usagi, but what of Tomoe?

More backstory on how lord mifune came to power, and usagi's early days as his retainer, anyone?

I would enjoy more stories of Usagi when he was young and still a student of Katsuichi Sensei, maybe as flashback during a story featuring Jotaro and Katsuichi Sensei. And to make it even more interesting, have flashbacks to those other couple students whom Katsuichi Sensei instructed before Usagi.
