Stan, I was looking again at the cover of issue #99, and wondering what books do you use as reference the look of the land from Usagi's time? I'm looking for a good book myself, and was wondering if you could let us know what you consider to be a good/reliable source. Thanks!

Most of it is made up. However, one book I do refer to is one on Japanese landscapes that I bought in Kyoto. It has photos of mountains, beaches, forests, bridges, etc in Japan. No modern stuff.

I also have a couple of books of photos from the late 19th/early 20 century, many hand tinted, that shows landscapes as well as people of various professions, and towns.
