I came across the forum looking around for a way to get in touch with Sakai-sensei, who was kind enough to favor me with a chat last July at the Comic Con. This is quite a community you have here! Having just finished reading the first UY TPB, though, I can see why. I'm hooked!
Mr. Sakai, if you're reading this, first let me say thank you! To think that up till now I only knew you as the guy lettering Groo...
As for why I'm trying to contact you: I think I've found some movies you'd asked me to look for - from the Satomi Hakkenden ('54) series - but I neglected to get your email address when we met in San Diego. It looks like there 10 or so of these old Hakkenden movies, and I wanted to check the titles with you. The ones that turned up are Youtou Murasamemaru the first movie of the series, and then the 3rd movie called, well, I can't read the kanji.
Something about "Ranmai(?), the Cat Monster." I honestly don't know how your kin in Japan can function with this language. I guess that's because I've never studied Chinese.
