Something I noticed while reading

I'vebeen buying and reading the graphic novels back to back. We all know how talented Stan is and I'm amazed at how fresh and creative the stories remain after 15+ volumes.
Yet reading so many in order, I've noticed something that, quite franjkly, sticks out a bit as odd.
Several times over Usagi or another character will "sense" something, turn, see nothing, then play it off as a trick of their imagination. It's gotten to point where I'm wondering why the charater doesn't trust theirt "sixth sense" more often.
It's still amazing that this is the only pint of redudancy I can find in this one-man masterpiece of a series, but I was wondering if anybody else thought these insatnces happened fairly frequently?
PS (this post was hard to write since there's a good chance Stan might read it. I gain much enjoyment from Usagi, but I'm take an editing class now and felt copelled to inquire about this prickle in my reading)
