Hi, i noticed this character the first time i read the story, im reading lone wolf and cub now and he kinda looks like Itto Ogami, Sensei could you tell us why you have drawn this character, he stands out and he is clearly looking at Usagi.

I think I was lettering Legend of Kamui when I did this story, and I liked Sanpei Shirato's art in the first 3 books (which were not published in the US), and did a character based on his style but not his characters.
The first 3 volumes had a completely different look to them, very graphic, which I enjoyed.
