Items for San Diego - what to buy
As night follows day, and as Stan asks what people would like him to bring, so comes my reciprocal thread for all those stuck in Europe who would like some goodies brought back from Comicon.
Just to reiterate a couple of points from previous years... anything small is fine and will be costed accordingly when I return, but expensive bits (like if someone wants a piece of artwork) may need payment in advance. The likelihood of agreeing to such a purchase naturally increases with how well I know you!
Secondly, DO NOT send me a private message detailing what you would like, post it HERE in this thread. Makes it a lot easier for me to collate, and if you change your mind along the way, you can just edit your post. This list will be considered CLOSED on the day I leave for the US (17th July) and that will be the shopping list I adhere to (unless there are any last minute unavoidable changes in plan, for better or worse).
New things on the block this year which I suspect will be popular include a new art print (Usagi in the snow) and sketchbook #7 (hopefully it will make it in time). For all you Mouse Guard fans as well, I will be grabbing items for you if desired; I know David will have at least one new poster and a new sketchbook on offer.
If you arrange with Stan for him to bring something specific that won't normally be sold per seen on his stand, please note that in your post so I can make sure he gives me it when I see him.

This is still only available in hardback. I assume you probably know that, and just wanted to check that is, in fact, what you desire.Thomas Froehling wrote:Mouse Guard: Winter 1152 (the book collecting the single issues)
Do you mean the one here? I don't believe David has any more of these left, but as I need to send him an email before SDCC, then I'll add that in as a question to him...Thomas Froehling wrote:Mouse Guard print with the lots of different mice

Generally this thread is just for people in Europe, as I won't be posting anything out until I return home to England. If you're prepared to pay for the additional costs back out to the US and no one else can help, I can see if there are any more...roel wrote:Mayhem, If there are more of that "mice" poster could you please pick one up for me as well. For something like this, please contact Stan directly and he should be able to bring one especially along for you if he wasn't planning to already.janjedlikowski wrote:UY Summer Special #1 (if avaible)

David had some of those Mouse Guard prints at MCCC back in May, the one with all the mice in it.
I also have one of the new Usagi prints already for Fanfan, once I get off my lazy butt and mail it (along with the one for Thomas)
Flat tube? Sounds bad! Sounds very bad!
When I finally get around to mailing your Usagi print, I will try to find a nice round envelope.
