long shot: NYCC (October 8-10) interested?

a friend (haha) of mine has dropped out of a week long jaunt to New York for the NYCC in october, which leaves me booked into a double double at the Hampton Inn (ESB/35th St) on my own, which leaves me in a slight jam financially*.
now... is there anyone who was thinking of going but hasn't sorted out accommodation? (I have a spare con ticket)
I do realise that seeing as sensei isn't going to be there, then this is a bit of a long shot.
* this isn't strictly true. it just means that if I do get someone else for the room, I'll have more money to squander at the con!
