Usagi Yojimbo DojoBoard

Dear UY Dojo,

To celebrate the upcoming release of RokuToys’ Limited Edition of Usagi Yojimbo Series Two (featuring Kitsune, Jei, Lord Noriyuki, Usagi Armor and Zato Ino) we are having a contest.

The prize: A FREE Gennosuke Exclusive Edition from RokuToys series one (http://www.rokutoys.com/gennosuke-exclusive.htm). This was donated by a Usagi Yojimbo Dojo member (This is NOT a contest from RokuToys (http://www.rokutoys.com/index.htm). We just love their work).

Rules:

1) This contest is only open to USA Dojo members due to international shipping charges (sorry international Dojo Members – but we would love you to submit photo even though you can’t win ).
2) Take a picture of yourself with holding an Usagi Yojimbo Dojo sign of your making. Pictures without an Usagi Yojimbo Dojo sign will not be a valid entry.
3) Post the picture (or link to that picture) to this thread.
4) You can start submitting pictures on January 15, 2011.
5) One submission per dojo member.
6) Submissions will be accepted until February 1 at 11:59 p.m.
7) All valid entries will be eligible in a random drawing.
8 ) The winner will be contacted via PM for their mailing address.
9) You will be mailed a Series One Gennosuke Exclusive Edition stature when the Series Two statues are shipped.

This is just a small thank you to YOU, the fans of Usagi Yojimbo, Stan Sakai and this Dojo Community. Thanks for making this Dojo a great on-line community!

Somewhere in your picture you need to have some legible signage that reads "Usagi Yojimbo Dojo" or "www.usagiyojimbo.com"

If you want a close up of the sign, you know so you can actually read it lol, I can send you one. I just didn't want it to be mistaken for an attempt at two entries.

I'm wearing a traditional Japanese fireman's coat (unfortunately not 16th century) and holding a WWII Japanese naval officer dress sword that I got from my grandfather. My dad did the kanji since he studied Chinese.

I'm glad I'm not judging this contest! Other-wise, there would be a four-way tie and the Gen statue would be facing a pretty grim fate in order for all the winners to get a piece of him.
